Good day, i am writing this based on research of how to drive west from Va to Oregon. So far id prefer to do the trip majority on I70 , however, almost everything i see about that road is dangerous. But is it by around May 10 or so? i am going to be taking my time and sightseeing, and hitting colorado and utah for 4-5 days as a sort of mini bday vacation. is that feasible? or will i be underneath snow and would be better off taking i40 or i80? im a 27 yo male who has until june 1 to be in oregon.
