Vehicle Wheel Alignment

Off-roading can badly affect the wheel alignment. When you pass your vehicle through mud and rough terrain, wheel alignment gets severely messed up and poses a blocker to drive straight. Off-roading imposes critical stress on the wheel alignment when it hits the hard rocks and barriers.

Looking for good views and photo ops for an upcoming day trip - NJ to ATL. Any suggestions?

Just as title suggests. I am picking up my in-laws, who have never been to the states, in Jersey. We are traveling back to my home in Atlanta. They live on a tropical island, so I want to show them some good mountain scenery on the route down, maybe get then some pictures of "Welcome to..." signs.

Throw what you got at me!

South Jersey to Clifton Colorado

I'm planning to leave end of month it feels like this is a mild winter so far what should I be expecting snow wise? I'm gonna be driving a AWD RDX with all season tires on. Is there a more southern route i can take ?

Let's Determine the ATV Size

There is a bit of variance as most four-wheelers fall into specific range and size categories. The average ATV is around 83’’, and the average width is 47’’. Most of the machines with which we come across have measurements close to these ranges.

7 day Roadtrip Ideas? CT to down south - leave 12/25-26/21, return 1/1/22

With the pandemic going nuts again I scrapped my ideas for a last minute mental health vaca flight and decided I'm safer taking a road trip solo. I live in southern Connecticut (born in Miami - was planning to fly there but haven't really been anywhere else warm) and have from Christmas day or the following day until New Year's Day to be back, so I have 7 days to travel south and back. I'm looking for some good ideas for destinations to hit along the way to (?) and back here....places to see, to stay, to eat - etc.! All I ask is that I get to the warmest destination and then start poking around --- looking to shed the jacket for a few days and be outside, meet new people (masked, I know), feel the sun on my shoulders..... love live music, flea markets, outdoorsy stuff, lakes/beaches/bodies of water...shore towns, camping, antiquing, oddities, spanish moss, farms, kind people (prefer to avoid trumpers and that sort at all cost), would love any ideas/input you have that are feasible in that time frame :) talking to a total newB here - this is my first long solo road trip :) help a gal out ! Thanks in advance!

Southern Oregon to Southern California in January — recommendations for route avoiding snow zones

Hello! I’m new around here so hopefully asking for route/planning recommendations is ok.

I’m taking a road-trip down to Southern California in January and I’m trying to plan the safest route (baby on board!) while also minimizing time on the road. The most direct shot looks to be I-5 south which looks mild snow-wise in the Eugene to Ashland stretch but Mt. Shasta zone has me concerned. Did some light googling and it looks like storms would be a concern here.

A bit more context, driving solo with a baby so want to pick a safe route but need to do the trip from Seattle to San Diego over 3. Days (Friday - Sunday) and need to be off the road by sunset. Anyone with experience driving the I-5 in January in the Mt. Shasta area? Any other areas I might want to avoid/be aware of? Or other routes that might be better? Thanks in advance for anyone with recommendations.

Need help in my road trip plan please. (Hartford, CT to SF, CA)

Hi,

I live in Hartford CT and will be moving to San Francisco for my new job. My family is 4 adults with youngest 25 and oldest 46.

And an adorable chocolate lab dog who is 75lbs. So air travel is something I want to avoid. I don't want to put her in the crate for 10+ hours with little to no human interaction.

So I am considering a road trip. This will be my first 1000+ road trip, so i am here for your kind advice.

I am trying to make most out the trip. I am taking 2 weeks break for this trip. Planning to visit places on the way and stay using Airbnb(so we can cook our own restricted diet food).

As a first step I am planning my route.

My family doesn't like extreme cold. So I think it is good idea to drive south and then west?

We all love natural places. Since we have a dog, most of the national parks are not viable. Can you all please suggest me places and route?
