Female, planning a solo trip to Afghanistan. I know, I’m crazy.
On a throwaway account. Long story short, my husband is in Afghanistan and I plan to visit him this autumn. Unfortunately, I will have to travel alone as the tickets are incredibly expensive. I’ve visited Kabul Afghanistan last year, but with three female relatives, and the Kabul security gave us a hard time. I’m Afghan-Canadian but I cannot speak Dari, but understand some of it. I don’t look foreign of course so I’m happy I can at least blend in. I’m a bit stressed because I’m a young female, going to a dangerous country by myself. I also have bad anxiety. How should I prepare myself for the trip (planning to go for several months)? Will I have more difficulty when I reach the Kabul security because I’m alone?
