First timer to Yucatan, Mexico! Help planning 8-9 day itinerary!

Hi! I'll be a first timer visiting the Yucatan, Mexico in mid-July - I'll be there for about 8-9 days, and would love some help planning out my itinerary. I'll be flying into Cancun, but don't plan on staying in Cancun at all.I've read a bunch online and would love to squeeze the following into my trip:Tulum (ruins, cenotes, Tulum town/beach, Sian Ka'an Biosphere)Cozumel (snorkeling, sargassum free beaches)Valladolid (and Chichen Itza)Isla MujeresIsla HolboxMerida (heard it's a great, authentically Mexican town)Bacalar (for the gorgeous lagoon and slower pace, non-touristy vibe)PDCAkumalI'm in my early-30s and travelling solo, and would love a mix of beach/relaxation, exploration, history/ruins, some nightlife, and cultural immersion - and ideally some non-touristy, more laid-back vibes as I know places like PDC/Tulum can get very touristy. I think all of the above sights/spots would provide what I'm looking for - but I just don't know what I'll be able to actually fit in to an 8-9 day trip, what I should focus on (and skip/exclude), and what the best route to take would be, if I were to fly in/out of Cancun.Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm open to renting a car as well, but I'd prefer to meet people in hostels and then split a rental car together rather than renting one straight from the airport on my own. Is that a possible option? Or are rental cars only available/accessible straight from the airport? Thanks so much in advance! :) via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2RXwOuf
