Sprint Global Roaming vs. Orange Holiday SIM

I'm heading to Amsterdam and Paris in a few weeks and was looking at cell phone data plan options. I'm already on Sprint and they do offer basic free data in both cities (2G data, free texting, etc.). Upgrading to high speed data would be either $5/day or $25/week. I'll be there for two weeks so the cost for using Sprint's high speed network would be $50.Last time I was in France, I purchased an Orange SIM card and looking at their rates, it'd be $50 for 20GB of data (probably more than I'd need for the time duration). That being the case, I'm assuming I'd be best off just sticking with Sprint this time around? At the very least, I'd have basic data access (albeit slow) though the free texting is likely to be more useful) and switching to a Orange SIM isn't any cheaper.Anyone have experience with Sprint's Global Roaming service (the high speed, paid version) in either city? via /r/solotravel http://bit.ly/2XrcW7J
