I need to get from Dubrovnik to London and am very open to suggestions!
I am spending one week in July in Croatia with friends, but I’m solo for the following two weeks and I somehow have to mosey on over to Heathrow to fly back home. Suggestions are more than welcome! I’ve been to Italy, Spain, and France already, so I’d like to explore 3-4 new European cities—my current shortlist is as follows, along a rough route from Dubrovnik to London:ViennaPragueBudapestMunichFrankfurtAmsterdamBrusselsDublinEdinburghThese cities are basic for a few reasons: I only speak English so I figure major cities would be more accommodating to that, and also I don’t drive so I will need to get around by public transit/uber/train exclusively—but please feel free to suggest other places not on the list that you think I should consider! I am also a solo Asian female, so any insight towards any places to steer clear of that may not take kindly to that would be greatly appreciated.I am a foodie above anything else, and I enjoy pretending to be a local when I travel—hanging out at coffee shops, bakeries, pubs, etc. I enjoy nature (the more easily accessible, the better!). Sadly I’m not really a history/museum/art type person, though if there’s anything that a unique must-see then I’d love to hear about it. Thoughts?
