A moving roadtrip of my life!
Hello y'all wanderers!
I (26F) will be taking my first-longest-solo road trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Raleigh, North Carolina in less than a week. Some of you out there may know of the same feeling I do, when you tend to undermine or (unintentionally) refuse to acknowledge a special event that is about to happen in the near future, until you actually sit down, look at how closely that day approaching in your agenda, and freak out that you are nowhere prepared for it, either emotionally, mentally, or physically. Hence, the purpose of this post is to get my mind completely sink into my grand move across the country, and to see if anyone of you would like to carpool with me for any part of the trip, or join me at any stop along the way for breakfast/lunch/dinner/city exploring and such beautiful roadtrip odds.
My plan is:
- Stuff my hatchback vehicle with all the belongings that can possibly fit in;
- Fill up my front seat compartment with snacks and water;
- Fill up my gas tank, double check tires and engine performance;
- Maintain the existence of an ice-cold-quadruple espresso within my reach at any and all times throughout the trip;
- Oldies, Jazz, and trap music will be playing (at the same time ;)) );
- Depart on July 1st, head on I-40 and hitting Raleigh on July 5th. These are a few stops that I will make along the way:
- July 1st + Payson, AZ
+ Albuquerque, NM
- July 2nd + Oklahoma City, OK
- July 3rd + Memphis, TN
+ Nashville, TN
- July 4th + Asheville, NC
