Hi all, I will be solo travelling to Italy & Paris next month. I've read somewhere that to get into some museums and tours (like Louvre, St Peter's etc), you'll have to check your backpack. I will carrying the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L, is it considered to be too big? Should I be looking at bringing a smaller bag like a messenger or a sling bag?

Ideally I would want to bring my backpack as I will be carrying quite a bit of camera gear, and I do not want to have to check them. If you can share your experience it'll be greatly appreciated :)
