Europe travel complications?
In 15 days, I'll be on the way to Italy for my honeymoon. This is not technically solo travel, this is just the first place on Reddit I saw knowledgeable people talking about complex travel plans, so i figured I'd start here. Forgive me if this isn't kosher to the rules.
I just heard from a friend that's a Croatian native that US-Europe travel requirements changed this month, but I didn't really think about what she said until today. Trying to get more info but she's at work.
She briefly mentioned that I'd likely need a Visa on top of my passport. However, Italy (the destination) is a Schengen group country, and I can't find anything online regarding a recent change to their policy.
The only thing I can think of is that because of Brexit, our brief layover in London could cause some issues.
It goes like this:
OUTBOUND
ATL-LHR-MXP
INBOUND
MXP-MIA-ATL
Our passports are up to date, and I'm trying to find information on what this could be. Am I misinformed or do I need to apply for a visa?
