Our 10th cross-country road trip with our kids - help!
Every summer, we drive with our 3 kids from NY to Seattle, and as our kids have gotten older, we've been able to stop more and do more things. Now that none of them are actual toddlers, we would love to turn this into an actual sightseeing and adventure trip. Nothing is really out of the question. We have been to Yellowstone almost every year and love it so would love to stop there again. We love other national parks, but I know we are missing out on so many things because we just don't know about them. We have camping gear, but like to do half camp/half hotel.
Any suggestions for routes or places to go? We can take up to 2 weeks. And we have to get back at the end of the summer, so we can do 2 different routes. We have about a 2.5k budget per trip... Our van gets about 27mpg on the highway.
