Traveling to India in March. Should I change my Itinerary? Visit other must see cities/places?
Here's my tentative itinerary at the moment. I'll be traveling to India for two weeks was wondering if I should see more or other places within the two week time frame. Any tips are welcome!
Potential itinerary
3/18/19 - 4/2/19
New Delhi* || 3/20-3/22 Fly in at 11:30am on 3/20. Stay two days (Maybe one day?) for Holi and exploration of city.
Agra || 3/23 Drive to Agra by car for a day to see the Taj Mahal and explore city. See Taj Mahal early during sunrise? Or see it mid afternoon or sunset? Travel back to New Delhi same day to catch a flight to Leh.
Leh || 3/24-3/27 Fly into Leh from New Delhi. Explore for a few days. Go see Sand Dunes Leisure Park and other locally recommended spots.
Udaipur || 3/28-3/31 Fly into Udaipur from Leh. Explore Udaipur and the rest of Rajasthan.
New Delhi* || 4/1-4/2 Fly back to New Delhi to catch returning flights home on 4/2.
Other cities/places to possibly see:
- Varanasi
- Hampi
- Mumbai
- Goa
- Jodhpur
