Gearing up for a trip to SE Asia but I’ve always been incredibly scared of spiders.. is it common to find them in Thailand and Cambodia in hostels and such? Where should I book if I don’t want to deal with them in my room or near my bed, or am I just worrying about a boogie monster? I’ve heard the north (Chiang Mai and the areas surrounding it) are particularly bad. I’m worried I’m not going to be able to sleep if I find them in my room that I’m sleeping.

Maybe it’s time to just conquer my fear.
