Considering going home for a month and then returning, would appreciate advice/experiences
So I spent term one on exchange in Czechia and I've travelled quite a bit. Most of it was relatively short jaunts because of classes, so no more than a week away from my 'home base' at a time. I found this kind of travel really unsatisfying and exhausting.
I just finished a two week plus stretch going around the Balkans and I had a fantastic time, none of the issues and stresses from my earlier trips, and now I'm sad that I'm heading home soon (Feb 6, will be travelling up to then)
I'm really considering spending a few weeks at home recharging and then heading back to Europe, because I have a student visa, time, and money. I could get to the UK from my home city for $230 one way. Plus, I could only bring the absolute essentials this time and travel without needing to go back to my 'main suitcase'
TL;DR You might be wondering at this point 'k what's the question tho' and tbh I just don't have anyone to go to for advice/reassurances in my life so I thought I'd seek approval/caution from total strangers.
Otherwise I'm heading home to just attempt to find work/something to do until end of April when I absolutely must be back for a summer course.
