Critique my Itinerary: 18 Days in Germany, Italy, Hungary, and the Czech Republic

Hi everyone, first time solo traveler outside of the US here. I'm 20/F, just booked an 18-day trip to and from Berlin. I'm pretty experienced at traveling to several (5-6) US states in 2 weeks, so I'm hoping that I can have the same stamina for my upcoming trip to Europe—especially since I will be starting med school this fall and likely will not be able to travel abroad again for a few years. Budget is not an issue since I've saved up enough for what I want (and I'm gonna be broke in the foreseeable future anyway due to educational debt. Go big or go home lol)

That said, let me know what you think of this itinerary!

Day 1: BERLIN Arrive in Berlin early afternoon. Take a nap. Get public transport tickets and explore.

Day 2: BERLIN Check out popular sights at around 7am, breakfast, free walking tour, etc.

Day 3: BERLIN

Day 4: BERLIN to POSITANO (yes, it is quite far, but I've always wanted to see this place) Arrive in Positano in the afternoon, explore

Day 5: POSITANO

Day 6: POSITANO

Day 7: POSITANO

Day 8: POSITANO to BUDAPEST

Day 9: BUDAPEST

Day 10: BUDAPEST

Day 11: BUDAPEST

Day 12: BUDAPEST to PRAGUE

Day 13: PRAGUE

Day 14: PRAGUE

Day 15: PRAGUE to MUNICH (leave Prague around lunch) Meetup with a friend

Day 16: MUNICH Meetup with a friend, maybe trip to Neuschwanstein

Day 17: MUNICH to BERLIN (leave Munich around lunch)

Day 18: BERLIN to home

I used Rome2Rio to figure out the cheapest and fastest way to get around and this itinerary seemed like the best option for me. Some things that I was thinking of changing:

  1. Take out one day from Positano, transfer to Berlin - this is ok but I suppose I was just looking to relax longer in Positano, since the view is just incredible and it really is one of my dream destinations. Positano is relatively expensive, though, so I'm still undecided about this. I know I'm not seeing everything in Berlin with the short period of time I'm spending there, so it's really more of a "layover" for me. Thoughts?
  2. Raincheck on Munich (sorry friend) - awesome place, but a little out of the way if I want to head straight from Prague to Berlin and spend +1 day in Berlin and Prague respectively.

Would love to hear your thoughts about pacing and the itinerary itself. Also, any recs (especially regarding food) would be much appreciated. As for accommodations, I'm definitely getting an Airbnb in Berlin since I figured I would be exhausted from my flight. I'm thinking Kreuzberg would be a nice neighborhood, but hit me up with any other suggestions!
