Solotraveling in Bangkok at 17, need advice.
How will hostiles and other accommodations handle me because of my age, will they really care? I could easily pass as 19 or 20, especially in Thailand, but I don't want to show up to a hostile and be carded. If so I could always try somewhere else, but I'm just curious as to how that would work. I'm a guy by the way, and may even plan on socially drinking with other tourists. Would this be a problem as well? I have heard from other threads Thailand can be very lenient to westerners drinking, which makes a lot of sense to me. I want to explore the culture, and enjoy myself as much as possible, and want my experience to be as smooth as possible. Any general advice would also be appreciated, especially about SIM cards. Kind of clueless on how the process of getting one would work. Thank you all!
