New to solo travelling - where to go for 6-8 weeks?
So, I'm starting a new job in September and feel like this would be a great time to get some travelling in. I graduated a couple of years back so I'm currently working but would plan to quit around July time to get in 6-8 weeks of travelling.
I've spent three months working in Ghana last year so not really looking to go to Africa right now. I'm also planning a two week trip around Europe before this later trip and I'm from the UK so I'm looking further afield!
I'd love to do South America but I'm not sure if my lack of Spanish may affect my experience out there. I have considered teaching English and then learning Spanish whilst I am there.
I've never been to SE Asia but I've been researching and Vietnam/Bali look like great places to visit. I would say my budget for the 6-8 weeks would be about £3k.
I wouldn't say that I'm going on the trip to find myself but I'm more focused on being somewhere with great scenery, vibes,and people than doing specific activities.
This is pretty vague but I'd say I'm just looking for some top places for 1st time solo travelers to consider.
