Greece in March
Hello! My wife and I are thinking of a trip to Greece in March for 2 weeks, mostly because of a ridiculously cheap Emirates deal. Our biggest concern is that we want to visit some of the islands and the ferries seem to be sporadic since it's the off season. Is it still possible to go to Mikonos, Santorini, and Crete in March? We would likely not go to all of them, maybe just one or two. We just want to know if that's even possible because I've seen conflicting statements on other forums. We'd like to travel island to island if possible, but would be willing to go back to Athens if needed.
Otherwise, we understand that many of the big resorts are closed and we're generally okay with that. We would likely stay in a hotel, airbnb, or hostel rather than a big resort. It does seem like all the big sites are open, with shorter hours and we'd be able to do some trips on the mainland, like to Delphi or Meteora. If I'm wrong on that, let me know!
Generally, any tips or suggestions for visiting Greece in Msrch would be much appreciated, especially related to the ferries and getting around. Or, if you think it's not worth it, please let us know that as well! It's hard to pass up when RT tickets are only $370 a person but we wouldn't want to miss out on a lot.
