Route recommendations: Outer Banks NC to NYC
Hi, my partner and I are driving down from NYC to the outer banks in a few weeks, and have 3 days and 2 nights to spare on the way back up.
Does anyone have recommendations for routes to take back to NYC? We’ll be taking the coastal roads down to North Carolina, and are open to doing something similar on the way back with stops at different towns, but also very interested in driving further inland through bigger cities.
Neither of us is really familiar with these states we’re passing through so any and all recs are welcome!
