Any tips for a family that has never taken a legit road trip?
We are a family of 5 that likes the idea of a road trip as a family vacation but we’ve never done one before and it’s a bit overwhelming to figure out where to start.
We’ve taken long car trips to visit family or get to a destination vacation but that’s it. No extra stops. No sightseeing just get to the beach or Grandma’s house.
What are some tips for prepping for a road trip with a young family?
We homeschool. So that’s a plus as far as the calendar goes. The kids range from a newborn to an 8 year old.
We live in the Northwest Arkansas area and to my knowledge is isn’t exactly a road tripping hot spot. And it seems like we would have to make quite the drive to get anywhere worth while. But then again maybe I’m a bit numb to what’s around me precisely because I am so close to it.
