16 years old, need advice.
So i’m 16 right now, and i’ve had the dream of going on a cross country road trip, and i want to drag it out as much as possible, ideally 6 months, but i’m not naive. i know gas is usually the biggest expense, and i plan to buy a station wagon and set it up with a mattress in the back so i don’t have to spend money on sleeping. the advice i really need, is how much money i might need for this kind of trip. I plan to not eat out at all, mainly just cooking with a portable stove the cheapest food i can find. I just don’t even know an estimation of how much that would cost me so i can know how much to save. if anyone can help me with any advice, or if anyone knows how much a budget 6 month road trip would cost roughly, that would really help. I cannot wait to start this trip when i’m out of high school, but i don’t want to mess it up for myself by not having enough money or being unprepared. thanks for any help!
