GF and I want to take our van from eastern ND to Oregon on 8 day road trip, looking for some specific places to stop/any general advice
Some background, we've wanted to take this trip for a while, and bought a van last month (1997 e150 waldoch conversion). I 95% trust it to get us across the country, and that's good enough. We are leaving August 8th (maybe 7th so we don't have to get up at 4 to get to yellowstone), and getting back on the 16th. Anyway, here's the current route.
First stop is Yellowstone (recommendations for campsites that can accommodate a van?), then a drive along the coast (recommendations for places to camp around Boise, and overlooks along coastal highway). From the Ocean Park area we'll go to Seattle to do Seattle stuff, and finish up at cascade pass. Is there anything I should add in? Will it be too much and should I cut something out?
I'm sure there are details I'm leaving out, but please feel free to ask related questions!
