Solo road trip advice for a coast to coast style trip.
Hey everyone! Because no one really wants to go with me I am looking to go on a solo road trip out west and up the coast of California and Oregon.
I am leaving from Florida and essentially I will be driving to Zion National Park, then to the Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite and if I feel like it, Redwood or Mount Rainer. This trip is about two weeks long, the hardest part would be getting to Zion Initially. Should I fly and rent and rent a car? or make the drive? My car is a 2016 Scion IM(essentially a Toyota) with brand new tires with about 1,000 miles on them(with a spare tire) and no issues with my engine. I could see that I would spend about the same with gas but also two weeks with a rental car does not sound fun. I was out west last year in Utah in Moab and then up in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. I don't really plan on camping considering the first three days of this trip is just me driving to Utah.
If anyone has any tips on those destinations or travel or any tips they have I would really appreciate it. If anyone has any cool hikes or trails at those parks Id love to hear about them.
