San Bernardino county, CA and traveling north!
Myself (35M) and wife (30F) and two dogs are planning a road trip starting beginning of July and heading north. We would like to travel the 120 through Yosemite if it’s open, and stay near Tahoe for at least one night. And that’s about all we have figured out. We have traveled the California cost from LA to Oregon a few times and looking for a new adventure.
We; -Enjoying hiking and swimming. -Are prepared to tent camp, car camp, and hotel if needed. -do not have any reservations yet, and considering how busy this summer looks for vacation spots, rentals, and NPs in particular, we don’t mind taking the path less traveled and staying away from the crowds. -want to travel north. Our limit would be the Canadian border I suppose. -are prepared to off road any of the trip that is necessary.
What can you friends suggest we look into?
Thanks in advance for any help. We are really looking forward to this after being so busy the past year. (Wife is a first responder and I am was deemed essential to the infrastructure of California and we both worked more this pst year than normal and need this vacation.)
