I have a friend who will be visiting the US at the end of February or early March. She wants to stop somewhere in Arizona. Undecided where, but she’s flexible and hoping maybe I can meet up. I live in New Mexico and while I wouldn’t bat an eye at driving all day in summer, icy roads make me nervous and since I’m new to the region I don’t know how tough winter will be.

Any feedback on driving between Albuquerque and Page, the Flagstaff/ Grand Canyon area, or at least the Petrified Forest, in Feb/March? I’m sure it comes down to weather more than anything but I’d love some opinions.
