How easy is it to "wing" a RV road trip?
Hello Road Trip subreddit! There are almost a million of you guys wow! Hopefully someone here can calm my nerves.
One of my best friends is joining the Marines come late summer time. We have decided that a cross country road trip in an RENTED RV is a great way to send him off. From Chicago to Glacier National Park, and then up into Washington State.
My friends are all apart of team, "lets just rent it and start driving, well figure it out as we go" while I am the only one, out of 7 of us, who is on team, "lets rent an RV spot for 3 nights out of the 7 we are traveling so we can recharge/dump/fill up with water".
I have so many questions about RVS such as how often would we need to dump with nearly 6 or 7 early twenty year old boys traveling?
Are there like "pull up" dumping stations that you can just use instead of having to find like a perfect rv camp site? Like drive through dumping stations?
I am insanely stressed out about this and my friends are not helping to say the least.
Any advice about taking an RV trip would be welcomed, even if its just you calling us some dumbasses, which I plead the fifth!
Thank you guys/gals
