Are Travel Restrictions Enforced when Driving from State to State?
Wife and I had been planning a week long road trip along rural routes from NC to CT. Some of the states along the route (PA, NY, CT) have restrictions against travelers from NC. Our plan was to stay in airbnb’s in rural/mountainous areas for hiking, spend a day or two in New Haven, CT then head back. But I wanted to know if these restrictions are actually being enforced? i.e. are cops pulling over cars with out of state tags and checking IDs/issuing tickets etc? If anyone has knowledge or experience about this I would be very grateful for your comments.
I should note that we both have taken every precaution over the past several months and continue to be very careful; not trying to spread the virus the length of Appalachia.
