From East coast to west coast! Any advice?
Hey all, I hope y'all are doing good. I was thinking about taking a road trip from the east coast to the west coast, preferably start in Boston, NY, or Philly and end in San Fransisco.
I was not sure about which route to take, I did some research and heard that there is vast stretches of open fields in Nebraska and Wyoming and it's kinda filled with nothingness and loneliness. I wanna know a couple of detours I should take if I need to skip Nebraska and Wyoming. I heard the Wyoming sunrise/sunsets are beautiful. I wouldn't wanna miss it, but if it's the same as elsewhere, I would not mind to take a detour and visit some other place.
I don't really need a whole itinerary, but maybe any advice or suggestions like "Hey, Yellowstone might be a bit far from the path, but it's worth it" or " Don't forget to carry an atlas, you might not get any signal".
Thanks for any help you could be of.
Edit: Something important I forgot to mention previously, I am a 20 year old and I would like to mention that this trip is sometime in the future, not now. I'd just like to get a basic understanding of what it would be like.
