Beautiful places between NE US and SW US
Hi all!
My SO and I are moving this summer (early August) so we figured we would turn the drive into a road trip. We’ll be going from the NE US to the Southwest. We would love to hear the most beautiful places people have been to in those areas (think starting around NY/OH and ending in CO/AZ). If you have any specific hiking trails, lunch spots, etc to share, that would be incredible.
We are pretty flexible on our route, so we’d like to hit at least a few spectacular places! The Grand Canyon is our #1 goal to hit, but we know it’s hot, filled with ‘rona, and on fire right now, so we would like some backup ideas.
Also- if it’s a spot in a COVID heavy area, I’d still love to hear it, we’d just try and hit it next time we’re doing a big drive like this.
