What's in your car repair/survival kit? [Canada to Panama]
We're gearing up for the more remote parts of our trip. We started in Denver, looped around the US, swung through Vancouver and Kelowna, and are hitting the Mexican border in late October. We work remotely and are going to take several months for this trip. We want to make sure we have all the basics for our car, without going overboard.
So far, we have:
- Extra oil and funnel
- Jumper cables
- Spare donut tire
- Self-jump extra battery thing
- Coolant
- Windshield wiper fluid
- Gas can
We're considering purchasing:
- A 12v air compressor
- A spark plug kit
- A hand tool kit for the car
For CAR STUFF specifically, what would you add? What's overkill? We don't have a ton of spare space, but we don't want to skimp on this stuff.
