Summer Road Trip - Southeast Planning
My sister and I try to take a road trip every year. I'm currently working on planning our 8th trip. This year we're traveling from Indiana through West Virginia, to Shenandoah National Park. We'll follow the Blue Ridge Parkway down to Great Smoky Mountains NP. Then we head over to Congaree NP, then keep going east until we hit the ocean, at Myrtle Beach. We'll follow the shore north all the way to Assateague. We're going to Delaware, but not sure what we're doing there yet (just part of a 50 states bucket list) and then over to DC (Smithsonians, definitely but we may spend more time here) and then a drive back to Indiana.
