Bangladesh: Where to go??? Where to go??? - Bangladesh

Where to go???

Looking for some input on the places on my list as I'm looking to book my next trip in the next few weeks. My only solo was to Switzerland because google said it was the safest place for females. I've narrowed my next trip down to six places. So if anyone has anything good/bad to say about these it would be much appreciated.Norway - I know its expensive but I want to see the Fjords. Just don't know how feasible Norway would be without renting a car, which is something I would like to avoid if possible.Alaska - Again the Fjords thing. Looking at Kenai Fjords National Park. Hesitant here because it seems to be very difficult to get from Anchorage to Seward and back.Peru - Machu Picchu obviously. I would also love to see the Amazon, just not so sure how safe it is for a solo female. I do speak some Spanish but its been a minute. I really enjoy hiking and live at 7400ft so i'm not too worried about altitude sickness and such. I do think that the hike should also be fairly manageable for me. One thing I was wondering though is if there are places where you can store your things you don't need along the trail for once you are done.Japan - I've heard so many things about how great/safe Japan is, but i've also heard that public transport is a bit rough for females. Not sure how much truth that holds. I would like to go during March if I go to Japan so depending on my timing I may or may not see the cherry blossoms. Mt Fuji would be a must see along with all of the ancient temples and architecture. (Keep in mind I'm more of a mountain folk than big city folk.) My final worry with Japan is the food, i'm happy to try authentic Japanese food but also would like to know if they have other options readily available.Jordan - Petra/ Wadi Rum. So Petra has long fascinated me but due to its geographical location is a bit daunting. Can this be done without a tour and just using public transport? How welcoming is Jordan to tourists?Spain - Its easy affordable and so much to see. I've never been to Spain and kinda want to go there just for the churros. I'm looking to the south of Spain but my only worry is that there isn't much outdoor activity that can be done. I would love to visit Gibraltar and would probably stay in Malaga/Seville and do day trips from both of those places. My other concern here is that in Spain you have to book your trains in advance which stresses me out as I like to show up and then hop on whatever looks fun. Thanks in advance for any input! Trip will likely be 2 weeks or so depending on the chosen location. Obviously some don't need as much time as others. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2Z4GfyV
