Some guy belittleing me about my trip
Hi guys, im doing a very long trip next year june-september. Im 20 years old and right now im saving money. Im gonna be travelling via railway including the trans siberian from london to the country of Pakistan which is where my roots are from. Anyways this family friend was talking to me and when I told him about my trip he was like "your stupid, you should be saving your money blah blah blah". The same guy also told me last week I should follow my passion. Anyways when I told him some of the european cities im visiting like rome, paris, and amsterdam, this guy starts talking shit about these places and how they are dirty, as if he has been there, literally. I told this guy I have an interest of visiting North Korea just because im curious, and he starts calling me an idiot and why would I even wanna go there. When I told him im going to China too, he say's that alot of Canadians are getting arrested there. The guy literally talked shit about my whole trip and made me feel stupid and little. He kept teasing me, like im trying to become a political leader or something. Im just posting this here because now im feeling dumb asf, like there is better stuff to do.
