experience with refunds on tickets with Singapore
Long story short:A few weeks ago I booked a flight to Japan with one connecting flight (Alaska and Singapore Airlines) on Expedia. Fast forward to last week, they emailed me saying my connecting flight with Alaska changed and proposed some new times to me, which none of them would work.I ended up calling/emailing them (Expedia) and they confirmed it was an involuntary change and that the situation was out of my control and said I was eligible for a full refund and started the process with Singapore since I believe they need some info/paperwork to be done between them and Singapore.I called them again for a status update since it's been about a week and the rep kind of beat around the bush and told me that they now aren't really sure if Singapore will actually refund me, but also that Singapore has their own long process for refunds, which is why it's taking so long.Has anyone had experience with this?
