Sick hostel / roommate help
There’s an old guy staying in my hostel who is clearly very sick. He’s staying on the bunk on top of mine and had been coughing and spitting up phlegm for two days since he’s been here. It’s very loud and quite honestly gross, and after listening to it for two hours I gave up trying to fall asleep and went and sat in the common room. It’s now 2am and I just tried to go back to bed to see if he’d fallen asleep and discovered that he’s been spitting his phlegm over the side of the bunk and on to the floor. I found this out after stepping in it. Not only is this incredibly gross and disrespectful, I’m terrified of catching whatever he has. I don’t know if I’m just ranting or asking for help but I just don’t really know what I should do (I can’t change rooms, there’s no reception at this hour). I think I’m just going to have to sleep in the common room
