1 Week in Italy - travel itinerary
I'm looking for some advice.
In August I am planning to travel around Italy; the problem is, I only have a week. I have never been to Italy before and would love to see as much of it as i can. My current plan looks a little something like this:
Day 1:Fly into Venice (evening flight)
Day 2: explore
Day 3: train from Venice to Florence (morning)
Day 4: Day trip to Pisa
Day 5: Train from Florence to Rome (Afternoon)
Day 6 and 7 :Explore Rome
Day 8: Fly home.
Am I rushing around too many places to quickly or will this be enough time? Any advice would be really appreciated! Also, how much spending money do you think will be needed (accommodation and travel expenses taken out). I am currently budgeting £100 a day, to including admission prices.
