Need advice on travelling europe, possibly quitting job (contiki) Egypt and Europe same trip?
I've been seriously depressed at my job and decided i needed to leave. i've accumulated some leave from my job this june 12th for 25 days and thought i've always wanted to do a Contiki and what a perfect time to also quit my job as well. I know all the pros and cons of contiki's and i know i could do it MUCH cheaper myself but i just like the idea of them and have only heard amazing things. I think as my First solo trip it will be the perfect way to get my feet wet and see what i do and dont like.
I'm just feeling completely lost as i feel like i've left all this to late to travel anywhere especially Europe from Australia. I've always wanted to go to Egypt and thought, alright i will go there but looking at tours like contiki there only 8 days which is a LONG way for just that long i thought while i'm there i should do Europe as well then that's what got me thinking of doing a Europe contiki instead and maybe doing some backpacking around europe solo if i really do decide to quit my job and il have all the time i need. As you can see i really have no idea what im doing and i just need some advice on the best course of action for me wanting to do some solo travelling. my budget will be around $8-10KAUD
Ideally if i had the money which i dont think i do is doing a Europe Contiki and egypt tour then backing packing solo after. But cant help but feel it would be to much
