Is it normal for internships abroad to charge?
I dunno if I should cross post to r/travel. Anyway I’ll be entering my second year of undergrad in the fall and I’m an Economics major. I really want to do an internship abroad, but the two programs ive looked at charge. Is that normal? Not even reasonable amounts IMO to be there and also be doing work (like $5000 for 6 weeks in London). These are the websites I’ve checked out so far: Capital-placement.com/programme/London/ theinterngroup.com/apply-now/
I just want to make sure any internship abroad I apply to is legit because as much as I want to travel I also want to be able to reference to that as experience when applying to grad school
