So I will be in Greece for five days and need to get from athens to corfu, (flights I've booked are both there as a start and end point)

Meteora seemed like a good through point but am open to other recommendations.

I can only go via public transport but trying to understand the bus/train timetables is rather difficult, am open to hitchiking (have heard athens to tirana is the main route)
