Have you ever traveled somewhere just for a specific hostel?
I’m thinking about heading to Budapest to stay at Retox. I went to Budapest last year and absolutely loved the city, but I stayed in a tamer hostel. Had a great time, but I regret not going with Retox.
On one hand, I feel like it’s kind of dumb to go back someplace I’ve visited so recently, just to stay at a party hostel. On the other hand, my trips are all booked up for the next two years, and I don’t know if my future 28 year old self will be able to handle Retox lol.
What do you guys think? Would you go somewhere just for a hostel, or should I pick a destination I’ve never been to before? Worth mentioning that I would also visit a new place before Budapest and end my week there if I did this.
