Thank you all for your fantastic submissions! Here are the top three:
In third place, /u/nzranga with this Australian double rainbow. They said about the photo: "My sister works at a 5 star resort in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. They do guided tours through the mountain range and we came upon this one night.
In second place, /u/netllama with this crazy Mauritanian landscape. They said: "We camped in this valley that night. Just below me on the hillside were the desiccated remains of a horse, and 2 camels. Just before sunset, as dinner was being prepared, a nomad wandered into our camp. We gave him tea & dates, and he stayed for a while, chatting. Long after sunset, when it was completely dark, he bid us farewall, and wandered off into the darkness. He had no light source, and was apparently so accustomed to navigating the Sahara, that he could find his way in the black of night."
AND FINALLY, THE WINNER IS... /u/-paranomad- with this absolutely beautiful photo of the midnight sun in Greenland. They said: "I captured the magic elements of a lifelong dream here - icebergs and midnight sun on the Arctic Ocean in Greenland, from my last trip. Probably the best photo I've ever taken."
