Hey everyone,

I recently booked a trip with Avianca airlines going to Cusco Peru, flying from Toronto Ontario. I have two layovers, one in San Salvador and one in Lima.

I booked with the ‘Super Promo’ fare and have been reading conflicting posts about people being charged some kid of fee that’s around $178 USD at the airports as some sort of ‘non resident fee’ because of the fare type. These posts are from previous years though and can’t seem to find anyone in the last year or so provide information on this, is this still a thing?

FYI: I booked through Aviancas website, not a 3rd party.
