Hi all,

Due to three ruined christmases in a row (no exaggeration, sadly), I am not wanting to be with my family for christmas this year. Ideally from 12/23 to 12/27, add a day or so. I live near Washington DC and I really want to travel, preferably within the U.S. due to fiances but am not opposed to international travel if the cost is reasonable. I don't have a preference for warm or cold climate, but I would prefer it feeling 'christmasey' since I do love the season.

Bottom line is I just want to be anywhere but at home. Even if it means getting an Airbnb somewhere in DC and just waiting out the holidays in it.
