I'll be coming off spending 5-6 nights in Lauterbrunnen (and before that 2 weeks in Zurich for a conference). I should have 2 or 3 days at the tail end of my trip that I haven't decided what to do with.

I'm leaning right now towards Freiburg. I realize there's probably less to do, but I'm gonna want something chill to end with. It will be more budget friendly for sure. After three weeks in Switzerland, I'm probably going to be desperate for a reasonably priced restaurant meal (planning on mostly hostel cooking). I also just really love Germany and it would be nice to pop over there at the end. Lucerne looks like it has a lot to offer, but things might be rushed on a shorter visit and better left for a return? The third option is adding any extra days to Lauterbrunnen and really deep diving that region.
