Hello!

So I am travelling around the country as a solo 26 year old female and was wondering if anyone else has done that and what their experience was. I knew two guys who did it and slept at McDonalds parking lots, but I'm wondering how safe really any option I have is and if I can keep the prices reasonably low.

Edit: There was a comment concerning my itinerary. I have a rough draft trip set up from Savannah, GA to Cali, up the coast to Seattle, then through the middle of the country through Utah / Kansas and back to the east coast.
