portable freezer recommendations?

looking at all the recent posts, im not sure if this belongs here, but i really dont know where else to post this, if you guys know a better sub, please let me know, thanks!

so i need a recommendation for a portable freezer, and just for reference, im in canada, so options are limited, and prices are high...anyway, after a preliminary search, so far im looking at these:

Alpicool C20, 21QT, down to -4F ($340)

Costway, 44QT, down to -4F ($595)

Costway, 53QT, down to -4F ($600)

Koolatron SK40, 42QT, down to -8F (only $550 from costco)

and yes i realize there are other brands like dometic, engel, arb, but they are either not readily available, or just insanely expensive, even the smallest CFX3 is like $1100 CAD

anyway, i have some questions regarding the options above.

  1. the 44QT costway, a lot of other costway that i watched reviews for, have STAKOL on it, is that their old brand name or something? whats going on with that? im mainly curious if there's a quality difference between the ones marked STAKOL vs costway.
  2. the 53QT says its dual zone, but its like not the dometic ones with 2 lids, so can it truely achieve dual zone results? how well does this type of dual zone work? i mean i dont technically need it, im buying it to store my dogs raw food on road trips, so 90% of the time im gonna need to use it as a freezer, but it doesnt hurt to have more feature. so im wondering if the dual zone is good enough for me to put it on the pro list? as in, is it able to actually keep 2 very distinct temperatures in each compartment, or would there be like a gradual temp change across the zones where if i set one side to -10, one side to +10, it would be more like -5 and +5?
  3. more a general question, since these use compressors, do they leak water when unplugged like a fridge would? if so, how do y'all store it in cars?

and if anybody have other better bang for the buck recommendations that are available in canada, please let me know. i think im gonna set my budget to 700 CAD max. thank you!
