2 weeks in Bolivia in May, a few general questions
Right now, the itinerary consist of landing in La Paz, heading to Rurrenabaque, 3-4 day tour of the Amazon jungle. Then head back to La Paz for 4 days, and then the plan is to head to lake Titicaca, possibly stay around there for a day, then go to Sucre and/or Potosi, followed by the last day or 2 back in La Paz since the return flight is out of La Paz.
Right now, the only thing that is really set in stone is the 4 day rain forest tour, and then 4 days in La Paz - the rest is kind of up in the air. Really taking it lightly and playing it by ear after La Paz.
Any general travel tips or suggestions on backpacking in Bolivia? Suggested itineraries or things to do after La Paz?
Also - packing; any general packing suggestions/list for Bolivia? I backpacked through SE Asia in 2017 and then backpacked across Japan last year, so I am no stranger to packing lightly, sleeping in hostels, etc. just thought I'd get some advice regarding what to pack, since I've never been to South America. Must bring necessities? Things you wish you knew or wish someone told you before you arrived in Bolivia?
Thank you!
