Would love some critiques of my plans to travel through Europe for two weeks in May.
Hey all. 24F -- I've traveled tons with my (ex)partner and have traveled within the US alone but I've never been out of the US by myself. Yesterday, I booked my flights from the US to Berlin and back -- in Europe for two weeks in May 6-20th. I'd love little critique of my schedule~~
Tentatively:
Berlin (7th - 10th - 3 nights)
Leipzig (10th - 12th - 2 nights) (and/or Dusseldorf maybe?)
Ghent (12th - 13th - 1 night) ???
Brugge (13th - 14th - 1 night) ???
Somewhere in France that isn't a large city? (14th - 16th - 3 nights)
(Prague or nah? too much?)
Berlin (16th - 20th - 3 nights)
the questions:
--How much time should I spend in Leipzig? two nights? one night? should I do a day trip and head back to my accommodation in Berlin after the one day?
--How about Dusseldorf, should I visit alongside or instead of Lpzg?
--Brugge or Ghent? Both? How long in each/either? (Should I travel to Ghent and then spend a day but spend that night in Brugge, rather than staying in Ghent overnight?)
--Should I try to visit France? context I don't particularly want to see Paris or Lyon or Marseille I was thinking more like Dordogne+Perigord (someone on this sub recc'd)
--Is this all reasonable? I don't want to feel burnt out and I'd rather take it allll slowwwlllly in each city so I don't feel rushed :-)
Thanks in advance for the help, any comments appreciated! --B
