Mini June road trip in BC [X-Post from r/BC]
Looking for some good suggestions on places to stay or things to see in BC. My boyfriend and I have some time off in mid June and would like to get out and explore some more of the province that we haven't seen yet. We enjoy staying off the beaten path and in non-provincial campgrounds. We're always up for a good hike or long walk (especially if it leads to something old and abandoned). Distance isn't really an issue, we'll spend a solid 13 hours driving if it means getting to a neat spot for the week. We were thinking about driving around the Island but I've heard there can be slim pickings for non-provincial camping as a lot of their off road access has been taken away. We'll be camping along the way with our roof top tent but were also thinking about renting an airbnb for a couple nights if we could find something unique.
