Debit Card without a chip in Europe?
I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow and I just realized that my debit card doesn't have a chip! My bank is a local credit union so rush delivery of a new card with a chip isn't an option.
According to Rick Steves, a lot of ATMs take swipe cards but I didn't want to rely on one source and there was no date on the article. I searched r/travel and have seen conflicting posts.
Anyone have a recent experience? I'll be visiting Paris, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Rome, and Florence.
Any help is appreciated!
