Hi all,

Just booked my flight for my first international solo trip! I'm very excited to say the least. I'm landing in Mexico City on October 27th and will be flying out on November 5th.

Currently I know I want to spend some time in Mexico City (likely Roma or Condensa) and then Oaxaca City for the actual days of Dia De Los Muertos. However I cannot decide if I should push myself and head to Puerto Escondido for the last bit of the trip.

For 10 days, am I biting off more than I can chew? I don't like stretching myself too thin. I am comfortable flying from CF to Oaxaca, Oaxaca to PE, PE to CF. However I've read the drive from Oaxaca to PE is really nice, although it can take up to six hours. So if anyone has traveled around this area and has some input I would greatly appreciate it! And any recommendations on where to stay/what to do in Oaxaca and PE would be great as well.
